It is a relief to know that I'll be spending New Years at home with Daphne. It is the first holiday I have had off in over two years, and I hardly think she deserves that kind of neglect.
For those of you celebrating - though it is obviously going to be quite limited - keep your stupidity to a minimum, please. I really do not enjoy the idea of getting back to St. Mungo's on Monday only to find that someone has blown their head off in their drunken stupor. Unless you deserve it, then go ahead. Why I am even bothering, I will never know. Their intelligence is not just going to miraculously increase for any random reason.

The affairs of St. Mungo's have finally become sorted out. That being said, it would be incorrect of me to say that the schedules of the Healers and other employees will now ease up, since there are still so few of us, especially with the Healer to patient ratio to take into consideration. At least we can officially say that that majority of the Spell Damage floor has been returned to it's previous state, minus a few touch ups being made to the area that fell through to Potions and Plant Poisoning and the area where the Dark Lord dueled Potter.

That Wood creature decided to inflict himself upon us the other afternoon at the hospital after the Minister was stabilized. Best mate, boyfriend, family relation; I hardly care what the relationship between the two of them is. I believe this falls relatively close to under the category of "don't bite the hand that feeds". I had to heal my own wounds after he lost his temper with me not letting him through. Imbecile.

I must have a sign on my back recently that suggests that people should attack me. Though, I must admit, the other night at that Muggle pub was certainly payback enough for what they did before and the unnecessary actions Wood pulled.
On an entirely less pleasing note, my father was in my library the other night. I had to resist letting my own temper get the best of me when he decided that he was welcome to stay for as long as he pleased. If it wasn't the library I would have locked him in there and removed the thought from my mind.

Unless you are of family relation, given permission by the Ministry, or requested by the Minister himself, you will not be allowed into the Minister's room at St. Mungo's, so please do not try. Information will be given to the Daily Prophet when the hospital deems it necessary and you may receive your information through that. Let us do our job.

The very memory of my experience with the matter is enough to make me sick to my stomach. Even if it is partially because of how I treated her It doesn't have anything to do with how irritating she was, either. Couldn't stand to even meet her gaze when we were at home. She wanted me to love her so badly, and that honestly only made things so much worse. Some traditions must fade. Some generations won't take to the breeding rules of their ancestors. I do regret hurting her like that They should have seen it coming and they should be cautious in their dealings with Cliff. They could not possibly understand him now.

Perhaps taking a vacation is really more of a hassle than it's worth. Those of you who know how to follow procedure in Spell Damage without having your HIC around, I thank you. Whoever organized these charts needs to go through four more years of training.

We're planning on taking a vacation, so to speak, within the next few weeks. It's been agreed upon that we'll be in Italy for about a week. If any of you are interested in coming with us then please let it be known here. If there are any of you that would have problems with anyone listed above, please don't bother bringing your drama along with you. The point is to relax and get away from all of the chaos going on recently.
Any ideas would be welcome, but Pansy already has a house picked out with several bedrooms available and is virtually in charge of where we'll be going while we're there. Budgets shouldn't be a problem for anyone, seeing as food will be taken care of by myself and Pansy.
Clearly it's not required that you stay all week. You're welcome to come and go as you leave.
Discussions are welcome, but make sure it's clear whether or not you're going.

How it is possible for the same patient to constantly get lost in the hospital that they attend therapy at every week is beyond me. Perhaps one day he will stop coming up with excuses and we can focus on taming the mind.
